Hey, I just found your blog--what fun! This will be a fabulous way to see what you're all up to all year. So far, looks like the grasshoppers and snails are by far exceeding expectations--and the food looks divine. It's perfect that you two chefs are living with an organic kitchen garden. Here's our blog which we've started since we moved back from MI to keep distant friends up to speed: http://maynorchronicles.blogspot.com/
We had a backyard baptism for Willa this weekend while my siblings were all in town. I was only sorry you all coudln't be there. We'll post some pics of that soon. Keep writing--I love it!
Sadly, our year here is coming to an end. We've learned lots of Italian and we've made many wonderful friends. We did just what we came to do, but not too surprisingly, it's not easy to leave our lives here in Monterenzio- we all feel a little torn between two happy homes. It's time to come home-home nonetheless. We arrive in Minneapolis just before July. Thanks to all of our family and friends for your moral support during this adventure year. We look forward to seeing you soon and catching up. baci, Tina Gibbs Maddy Gus
